Every journey starts with a small step.
Find your feet.
Walk all the way around a world. Its gravity will hold you close.
Hold the arrows to walk. Slide between them to turn without lifting; between neighboring arrows, you can move diagonally. Hold Sprint to run or use your sail; hold Leap, then release to jump. Drag the sky to look. Pick / talk handles nearby people and objects. Turn and Throw appear while carrying something. Portrait and landscape both work; landscape gives you more room.

The first worlds have helpful spring pads. The planted paths lead toward Pip’s Sunwash Moon above Hush Home and Mallow’s Seedkeep Moon below Moss & Company. Use an ordinary charged leap from the open ground facing each moon, and jump back toward its home world when you are ready. Spare objects wait on a wooden platform around the back of each world. Further out, stack objects and weight the green trays to bring old crossings to life. Air steering turns your leap; hold Shift with a sail to soften your descent. The sky slowly turns from day to night. After Wick’s first light, look for the linen balloon on the side of the lighthouse world. Its post boat travels to the Tidal Choir and the worlds beyond. Wick’s Keeper’s light is earned at the lighthouse; afterward, choose it in My look. Falling is okay.
